Nokia is back at it again with an Android smartphone... for China

Remember Nokia? It's back! Again. Well, sort of.

HMD, the company which last year bought the rights to sell Nokia phones, announced on Sunday the Nokia 6. It's a stylish, inexpensive Android smartphone -- but it's exclusive to China.

 

2016 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk review:

THE GOOD

On paper it's got the most off-road capability in its class. The Cherokee comes with the excellent Uconnect system.

THE BAD

No Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. The Cherokee has much less cargo space than competitors and the Trailhawk trim line suffers a bit on the pavement.

THE BOTTOM LINE

If you expect to go off-road, the Trailhawk is a great choice. However, if you plan to stay in civilization, the top-of-the-line Overland trim line may be the better choice.

 

2017 Toyota RAV4 review:

THE GOOD

The 2016 Toyota RAV4 SE offers a more dynamic drive character in this normally sterile class. More aggressive looks thanks to the exclusive SE styling touches make the RAV4 visually appealing. Good power and fuel efficiency from 2.5-liter engine.

THE BAD

The SE's sport suspension provides a firmer ride quality that may turn off some customers. In our drives, a rattle from the left B-pillar would annoyingly come and go. The RAV4's Infotainment system doesn't offer Apple CarPlay or Android Auto capabilities.

THE BOTTOM LINE

Those who need the practicality of a compact crossover but don't want a drab-looking or drab-driving vehicle should put the RAV4 SE on their "must drive" list.

c, FCA Test-Drive New Open Source Infotainment System

Google and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles this week showcased a new in-auto infotainment platform at CES in Las Vegas. The open source system combines Uconnect with Android Auto.

The companies demonstrated their concept design inside a Chrysler 300 sedan at the show. The new system is built around Android 7.0, or Nougat, and an 8.4-inch Uconnect system.
