Yes, Alexa is everywhere. You have only to look at our CES 2017 Smart Home Scoreboard to see how Amazon has married its virtual assistant to cars, refrigerators, televisions and robots.
Alexa's momentum isn't surprising given the amount of hype over the last year. For Alexa's competition, Google Assistant is still new as a smart home assistant, and Apple is sticking to its slow-burn approach to growing Siri and its iOS HomeKit platform. That's why our Scoreboard has a loose quality breakdown. I didn't want to simply hand Amazon a prize for supporting yet another smart plug.
Porsche's GTS line promises increased performance and a bit more style than its more traditional variants. That continues with the 2017 Porsche 911 GTS family.
Note that I say family -- there are technically five different GTS models. You can have the rear-wheel-drive 911 Carrera GTS Coupe or Cabriolet, the all-wheel-drive Carrera 4 GTS Coupe or Cabriolet or the glass-roof 911 Targa 4 GTS. Thankfully, you'll only need one.
It looks like a bunch of slightly blurry, multicoloured fireflies, but while the image above doesn't look impressive at first glance, it certainly improves on more intimate acquaintance. It's actually a whole bunch of black holes at the centres of galaxies, imaged by NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory.
To be more precise, it's over 1,000 black holes, in a patch of sky around two-thirds the size of the full moon in the southern constellation of Fornax. A patch of sky the size of the full moon at this concentration would contain 5,000 black holes; the entire sky would contain a billion.
Razer had a great CES, wowing many with Project Valerie, a triple-screened laptop, and Project Ariana, a smart projector that makes use of the company's Chroma lighting to make your gaming experience more immersive.
